Furlough News

Furlough has come to an end and we're excited about going home! We are finishing up with doctor's appointments, shopping, and packing things up for our two - three day drive. We will be leaving Arkansas on Tuesday, June 24th and will arrive in Aguascalientes late in the week. Please be in prayer for our trip and the border crossing.
Lindsey had her post-op appointment on June 6th. Her doctor was very pleased. His only concern is that he anticipated her voice quality to have improved a little further than it has. She only has one vocal chord and so he is hoping that her vocal chord will begin to compensate for the lost one. He believes that within time, and as she grows, her voice will increase from the whisper it is now. There are some procedures that can be performed to give her a silicon vocal chord. Please pray for God to give us wisdom concerning future procedures.

A Note of Thanks

We are so grateful for the Lord's blessings on this furlough. We are thankful for the churches that we have visited and their graciousness towards us. We were able to renew some old acquaintances and meet many new friends who we believe will pray for us and our ministry. We are thankful for the faithful support, both financially and prayerfully, of our supporting churches. We are also thankful for the churches that took us on for new support during this furlough.
We are extremely thankful that the Lord led us to the First Baptist Church of Peaceful Valley in Colorado Springs, Colorado. First Baptist is our new sending church and our pastor is Dr. Allen Payne. The church and our pastor have been a tremendous blessing to our family. We cannot begin to tell of how many expressions of love they have shown to us. We are truly blessed to be their missionaries.

News from the Field

Pastor Rafael called me for Father's Day. He is very excited about what the Lord is doing in Aguascalientes. He told me that the churches are anticipating our arrival and excited about what the Lord has in store for the future of the Faith Bible Baptist Church and ministries. We are excited, too! We are looking forward to what the Lord is going to do during our third term. THANK YOU for making it possible for us to serve in the country of Mexico! THANK YOU for allowing us to be YOUR missionaries.
