Personal to our Supporting Pastors

Dear Pastor,
I pray this letter finds you and your ministry doing well. We are thankful for you and the good people at your church for your faithful support, both financially and prayerfully.
These last few months have been some of the more difficult months for our family on a personal level. As you may know, I was saved as an eleven-year-old boy as a result of riding the buses to the Bible Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. I was baptized in 1983, surrendered my life to do what the Lord would have me to do, and in 1988 was sent to Bible College. In 1991, I returned to Bible Baptist Church to serve as the bus director. In 1992, I married my wife, who had also been saved through the ministries of Bible Baptist Church and baptized in 1986.
Our three boys were born and dedicated back to the Lord at Bible Baptist. I am an ordained minister of the gospel through Bible Baptist Church. Before going to the field, my wife served as the church secretary and I served in just about every position including: janitor, bus director, youth director, children's church director and assistant pastor. We have been Sunday School teachers, junior church workers, bus captains, bus workers, soul winners and nursery workers. In 1999, we were sent out of Bible Baptist Church to the country of Mexico as missionaries.
We love Bible Baptist Church and what she has meant in our lives. Because of the love we have for Bible Baptist Church, it is difficult for us to inform you that we have resigned as missionaries sent out of Bible Baptist Church. We have come to this decision after much prayer, many tears and Godly counsel.
I do not wish to go into great detail in this letter concerning the reason why we have had to change sending churches. The main reason is that we could no longer serve under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Mike Files. Our resignation was accepted by Bible Baptist Church on Sunday, April 27th.
We have joined the First Baptist Church of Peaceful Valley pastored by Dr. Allen Payne. Pastor Payne and his wife, Stephanie, are former missionaries to the country of Wales where they served for 10 years. He has pastored the First Baptist Church of Peaceful Valley going on five years.
The First Baptist Church of Peaceful Valley is a great church with a missions heart. We believe that our partnership with Pastor Payne and the church will be one that will bring honor and glory to our Lord. We are currently in Colorado becoming better aquainted with our new church and preparing to return to Mexico.
If you have any questions, or would like more details as to why we have had to make this change, please do not hesitate to call me (501)253-6311 or my pastor (719)392-4444.
For Souls in Mexico, Allen & Steph Copeland
