       “Hats Off to Mom”
Our annual Mother-Daughter Banquet was a success
with over 65 mothers and daughters present! Hmna. Chelo
received a plaque and a special gift for being our Mother
of the Year. We had never given an award such as this
before, but Hmna. Chelo has demonstrated an exemplary
Christian spirit of
which we felt she was worthy of such an award. She
teaches our
primary girls Sunday School class and is an outstanding
teacher.
She also cares for her husband, Bro. Carlos, who is
diabetic and in need of dialysis several times a day. She
never complains and always has a smile on her face. She
also nursed her adult daughter back to health during a
major illness earlier in the spring.

“Building News - Together We Build”
Praise the Lord, we have finished the end caps and have
windows! We would like to thank the Central
Baptist Church NW in Tomball, Texas and Pastor Garrick
Ellzey for giving us two rolls of beautiful carpet! The
church folks are working hard at raising the money to
purchase the tile for the auditorium and the carpet will be
used for the
platform and the aisle areas. Everything is looking great!

We are still in need of monies to finish the
platform/baptistry area and to pay on the loan we took to
finish the roof. If you can help with this need, please
contact our home church (501)982-8826 or us at the numbers
below.

Summer Youth Camps
We had a great time at camp this year! We held the
Junior Camp on our church property with over 35 campers in
attendance. We set tents up in the auditorium for the boys
and
the girls camped out at our home! It was a great time!
Several
kids accepted Christ as their Saviour! Amen!
We took a group of 21 teens to camp in Pachuca,
Hidalgo (a 10-hour trip). Three of our teens accepted
Christ
and several surrendered their lives to the Lord. Over 160
teens were present and Areli, from our work in La Labor,
won the
award for the "Lady Camper of the Year" for displaying a
remarkable Christian spirit! Praise the Lord for that.

Furlough News
We are now scheduling meetings for the Fall, 2007 -
Spring, 2008. If you are interested in us reporting
or presenting our work to your church, please contact us as
soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you.

Please be in prayer for Lindsey and her upcoming
surgeries -- her first will be on September 14th at the
Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Also, please be in
prayer with us concerning a 15-passenger van for the
ministries. The work in Aguascalientes is in need of a
van. Thank you for making it possible for us to serve in
Mexico! We appreciate you!
